Dr. Zufar Yadi is a member of the Sarawak Social Development Council and Advisor to the One Stop Committee (OSC) for Addressing Drugs and Substance Abuse Issues in Sarawak. As the former Executive Secretary of the Council (2016–2024), he played a key role in advancing evidence-based social research to inform policies, programs, and interventions for vulnerable groups.

With over 32 years of experience in public administration, human resource development, and lifelong learning, Dr. Zufar is also a certified Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) Professional with the International Society of Substance Use Professionals. He currently chairs the Lawas Elderly Activity Centre (PAWE).
